There are many activities outside of CHAPLET that occur throughout our tri-county area and beyond that might be of interest to our homeschooling families.  This list will give you an idea of what is offered, things you may have heard of, etc … if you have any other ideas or suggestions to add to this page of references, please contact us.

News and Activities

Catholic Youth Groups ~
St. Peter Parish in Merchantville, NJ is home to SPY Group, an active Youth Group consisting mostly of CHAPLET homeschoolers, but also a few students from St. Peter and local Catholic high schools.  Regular meetings are held Sunday nights from 8pm-10pm at St. Peter unless otherwise noted on SPY Group’s website.  Join them for meetings, Rosary Night, Holy Hour
(First Fridays in the Church), volleyball, concerts, a Passion Play on Good Friday and more.

Light Weigh ~
A Catholic Bible study and spiritual growth weight loss program. CHAPLET may be forming a group after the new year where adults would meet monthly. Light Weigh offers excellent support and prayer time with great benefits. For more information, go to Light Weigh.

Field Hockey Team for GIRLS ~
The Bears Field Hockey Club is newly formed from the parish of Mater Ecclesiae in Berlin, NJ for homeschooled girls in South Jersey, ages 6-18.  Contact our Coach for more information, or check out our BLOG!

Rugby Team for BOYS ~
Rugby is what’s new from Mater Ecclesiae for boys in the Camden Diocese and beyond.  Teams for high school and for boys ages 5-7 have been formed.  Contact the Coach for more information, or check out our BLOG!

Tri-County Home Educators Association ~
TCHEA is an excellent resource serving the Christian homeschooling communities of NJ’s Burlington, Camden and Gloucester Counties.  They provide a variety of activities for South Jersey homeschoolers including sports, music and arts, skating, geography and spelling bees, ski trips, and more.  They also offer an Information Night for parents seeking answers to their homeschooling questions.  Their informative and inspiring newsletter, Nota Bene, keeps the community informed of activities, trips, plays, sports, etc.  Check out Tri-County Home Educators.
